Elano Travassos's late challenge caught a Firma Barnängen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Saraiva in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Karl-Michael Jansson made the kick off in the second half. Jefferson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson do Vale came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Firma Barnängen's Sten Hernström. But to his dismay, Sten Hernström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 94th minute, Sten Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
