A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. David Batista hit a great ball. Filiberto Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ricardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Nóbrega came free, but Paolo Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Cafu Nóbrega in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quebracho FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 minutes, Cafu Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the Quebracho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Quebracho FC's Paolo Abastas got control of the ball when Lino Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quebracho FC's Anier Nuno got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Cardoso in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Rivero in the 28th minute of the match. Cafu Nóbrega received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paolo Abastas came out and tried to block the shot, but Cafu Nóbrega slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. A collision led to Quebracho FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Apolo Medardo hit a great ball. Serginho Tande hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Correia came free, but Paolo Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Quebracho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Anier Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Lino Correia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paolo Abastas. Lino Correia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lino Correia made the kick off in the second half. Anier Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ricardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Nuno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ricardo Carneiro made a huge save. Jorge Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Secco. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Fausto Frechoso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Artemio Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quebracho FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
