The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes ALIDIM FOR EVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alf Eik who took care of the corner kick. FC Pladask's Alf Eik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cleto Ritchie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes into the game, FC Pladask's Alf Eik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Ritchie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Søren Skålevik kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Eik in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Ritchie saved ALIDIM FOR EVER from getting behind. After some careless play in the ALIDIM FOR EVER defense, Alf Eik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Ritchie. The ALIDIM FOR EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Ritchie should have stopped the shot. Cleto Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Eik, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Eik made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's Nils-Johan Hagberg got a free kick in the 58th minute. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Tomás Pirro was substituted for Mariano Pepillo. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Roberto Hodei was substituted for Santos Barros. Nils-Johan Hagberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Alf Eik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Eiks short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Cleto Ritchie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cleto Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Eik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Marquez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. FC Pladask made a substitution. Tord Kaur replaced Erik Bratli. Alf Eik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Cleto Ritchie made a huge save. FC Pladask's Jan-Kenneth Øglænd got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleto Ritchie made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Kristen Sollien sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Alf Eik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match FC Pladask got a corner. ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alf Eik ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alf Eik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cleto Ritchie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The FC Pladask players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
