After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's Kristen Sollien got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cristóvão Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Eik, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Douglas Fowler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Eger in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Frode Vestrheim. Cristóvão Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Eik, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Søren Skålevik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Fowler was a little too slow when Marcinho Nóbrega got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 25th minute, Alf Eik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Capivariano F.C.'s Cristóvão Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amund Gjerstad in the 27th minute of play. FC Pladask made a substitution. Tord Kaur replaced Jan-Kenneth Øglænd. Cristóvão Souza had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Alf Eik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 36th minute, Alf Eik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Aparecido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Douglas Fowler. FC Pladask's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Frédson Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capivariano F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Fowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Pladask's Douglas Fowler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pladask from getting a goal against them. With his leg Douglas Fowler managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Capivariano F.C.'s Raúl Eger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos Fonseca made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Tiago Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivariano F.C. and the FC Pladask players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Capivariano F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Souza made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Amund Gjerstad sent off a good shot on target. Raúl Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Fowler having to make a save. 62 minutes into the game, Alf Eik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristóvão Souza. Alf Eik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Tord Kaur could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Cristóvão Souza however easily saved by the left post. Kristen Sollien might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristen Sollien ran back to his position shaking his head. Luan Simões got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Luan Simões hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Capivariano F.C.'s zone, Søren Skålevik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Souza came out of the goal and Søren Skålevik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Søren Skålevik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Souza having to interfere. Capivariano F.C.'s Cristóvão Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Capivariano F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Eik in the 82nd minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristóvão Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Johan Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tord Kaur in the 88th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
