Spectators: 7666 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Limoeiro-PE FC's Lino Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Nicolas Cardoso got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcell Somogyi in the 10th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Betinho Leme got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Zénó Szűrös hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Limoeiro-PE FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ákos Takács fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zénó Szűrös hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lino Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tibor Moravecz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Cardoso in the 24th minute of the match. Krisztián Vén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Carneiro having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ákos Vándor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. Tibor Moravecz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Nóbrega in the 43rd minute of the match. Tibor Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Nóbrega in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcell Somogyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tibor Moravecz made a huge save. The referee showed Antal Kocsis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Nóbrega got free with Tibor Moravecz in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes, Betinho Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the Ágyúsok FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Kocsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Limoeiro-PE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mihály Horváth was slow to take the kick. During this time Ágyúsok FC's players had a chance to rest. Betinho Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Tibor Moravecz made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Kocsis came free, but Ricardo Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Marcell Somogyi made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Carneiro. Limoeiro-PE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.
