If Alf Eik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Alf Eik managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pladask's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Eik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristopher Herndon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Clark to maneuver through the defense. Alf Eik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cristopher Herndon made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Theodore Randle got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Fowler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royce Dwyer in the 32nd minute of play. Alf Eik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's goal looked a bit too open when Royce Dwyer came free, but Douglas Fowler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Eik. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Eik to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Søren Skålevik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pladask's supporters crossed their fingers, but Søren Skålevik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Morten Lauten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Søren Skålevik in the 61st minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristen Sollien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Herndon having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Lance Lord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Theodore Randle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royce Dwyer's late challenge caught a FC Pladask's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Royce Dwyer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Royce Dwyer got a free kick in the 71st minute. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Royce Dwyer hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Kristen Sollien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pladask fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kristen Sollien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Herndon having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inmortales FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for FC Pladask. Alf Eik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristopher Herndon. 2-0. Cristopher Herndon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Eik in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Eik in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristopher Herndon prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
