Apolo Medardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rui Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Rui Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. Paolo Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syd Barret in the 21st minute of play. When Danilo Odol came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Quebracho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Odol couldn't finish the play. Paolo Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Barret, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 56th match minute, Quebracho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Abel to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syd Barret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
