After 59 played minutes, Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Carneiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capivariano F.C. reached it. If Júlio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Ricardo Carneiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Frédson Galvão got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Cafu Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With his leg Ricardo Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Capivariano F.C.'s Carlinhos Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Capivariano F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Limoeiro-PE FC.
