Basílio Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Kristen Sollien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Eik in the 23rd minute of play. The corner led FC Pladask's Alf Eik to fire away a dangerous shot which Basílio Veloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Michel Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Fowler. FC Pladask's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to IGUIPORÃ FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Michel Amorim hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Alf Eik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pladask fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Douglas Fowler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Vianna in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute, Søren Skålevik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antônio Carlos Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristen Sollien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Basílio Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Frode Vestrheim's late challenge caught a IGUIPORÃ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Frode Vestrheim helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of IGUIPORÃ FC booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Frode Vestrheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basílio Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Søren Skålevik in the 61st minute of the match. When FC Pladask's Alf Eik in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IGUIPORÃ FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Barreto in the 74th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Douglas Fowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Marinho's late challenge caught a FC Pladask's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 77 minutes, Alf Eik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pladask's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Eik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Kenneth Øglænd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Pladask getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's Antônio Carlos Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Fowler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tord Kaur kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Morten Lauten hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Douglas Fowler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Fowler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, IGUIPORÃ FC's Basílio Veloso got control of the ball when Alf Eik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basílio Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Eik in the 94th minute of the match. The FC Pladask supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Pladask would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
