Spectators: 7830 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Correia started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s Alexandros Schizas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Limoeiro-PE FC's zone, Stratos Savouras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Carneiro came out of the goal and Stratos Savouras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Serginho Tande got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Louis Theofilopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bazellatin F.C.'s protests and gave Louis Theofilopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bazellatin F.C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Louis Theofilopoulos hit a great ball. David Batista's late challenge caught a Bazellatin F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Batista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, David Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manos Voutsas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Correia went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 0-2 became the score in the 25th minute when Nicolas Cardoso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aris Chatziaggelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Carneiro made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Stratos Savouras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazellatin F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Bazellatin F.C.'s Aris Chatziaggelis got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Eliseu Camargo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Betinho Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Aris Chatziaggelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazellatin F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Bazellatin F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Thymios Kastritsis hit a great ball. Manos Voutsas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eliseu Camargo. In the 61st minute, Aris Chatziaggelis made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Carneiro. Limoeiro-PE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. If Stratos Savouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Betinho Leme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manos Voutsas. That made the score 3-3 in the 66 minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Dimitris Venetis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Lino Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bazellatin F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Chatziaggelis in the 76th minute of play. Ricardo Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Savouras in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stratos Savouras in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
