Inmortales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limoeiro-PE FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Edward Olsen. Limoeiro-PE FC's Lino Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Lord to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Theodore Randle got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Correia in the 11th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Limoeiro-PE FC's Cristopher Herndon threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cafu Nóbrega, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristopher Herndon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Leme in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Royce Dwyer came free, but Ricardo Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's A.J. Whalen got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Correia was the one to do the kick off. Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Correia in the 52nd minute of play. Limoeiro-PE FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Inmortales FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseu Camargo took the corner. Ricardo Carneiro was a little too slow when Thomas Cormier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. Cristopher Herndon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes, Cameron Ramey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inmortales FC and the Limoeiro-PE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cameron Ramey hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Cormier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Carneiro. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theodore Randle came free, but Ricardo Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royce Dwyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
