The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 23 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristóvão Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikos Kounenakis. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Thalis Tzavaras got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Kounenakis to maneuver through the defense. Capivariano F.C.'s Carlinhos Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Stratos Savouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Theofilopoulos in the 43rd minute of the match. Nikos Kourabies hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Manos Voutsas made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Carlinhos Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Bazellatin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofanis Dilberis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thodoris Diamantidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Savouras came free, but Cristóvão Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capivariano F.C.'s Cristóvão Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Savouras in the 67th minute of play. Cristóvão Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Savouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Voutsas came out of the goal and Júlio Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manos Voutsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Thalis Tzavaras got a free kick in the 90th minute. Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manos Voutsas but with some difficulty.
