Salvador Incendio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Fortín de Floresta. Alfonso Vimaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Cristofor's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Salvador Incendio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alfonso Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Nicanor Estefan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Fortín de Floresta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA the free kick. Alfonso Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Cristofor in the 66th minute of the match. During the 67th minute of the match Nicanor Estefan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. For all the effort they put into the match, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
