Nicanor Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, El Fortín de Floresta's Conrado Bernat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Sigman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Bernat during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Conrado Bernat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Fortín de Floresta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Torsten Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Daniel Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Fortín de Floresta's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Sigman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Vimaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joar Näfver showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 32 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Fortín de Floresta's zone, Torsten Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Vimaro came out of the goal and Torsten Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes of play, El Fortín de Floresta's Conrado Bernat made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Sigman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 42 minutes, Conrado Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Fortín de Floresta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Bernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Bernat in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute Enzo Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Lundgren was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Freddie Josefsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Erik Sigman came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by El Fortín de Floresta's Felipe Gaitan. But to his dismay, Felipe Gaitan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 61st minute, Felipe Gaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Enzo Hug hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Conrado Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Erik Sigman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Sigman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Rojelio went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Erik Sigman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The El Fortín de Floresta fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when El Fortín de Floresta's Conrado Bernat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 79 minutes of play, El Fortín de Floresta's Enzo Hug made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Sigman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Sigman made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Feliberto Lizbeth sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Torsten Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Oliver Wästerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Fortín de Floresta the free kick. In the 90th minute, Oliver Wästerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Conrado Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Erik Sigman made a huge save. Conrado Bernat came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erik Sigman could save by the left post.
