Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Adriano Soares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jano Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Johansson in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Adriano Soares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 8 minutes into the game, Arman Bremming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jano Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Snipers's Lennart Svensson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Valdir Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valdir Peres hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Olov Groth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Soares in the 25th minute. Jarl Nässén's late challenge caught a TAQUARI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarl Nässén helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Nässén to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Soares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Olov Groth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Olov Groth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, TAQUARI FC's Olov Groth threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Couto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Valdir Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Groth having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Valdir Peres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Groth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 38th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Soares to maneuver through the defense. Jano Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Kullgren in the 41st minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 50th minute, Váldson da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, Greger Kullgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jano Neves. Greger Kullgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jano Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Svensson in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Greger Kullgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vivaldo Leão fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAQUARI FC's protests and gave Vivaldo Leão a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Leão. Lennart Svensson scored 1-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jano Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TAQUARI FC's Dito de Toledo was substituted for Váldson da Silveira. FC Snipers's Roland Haglund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jano Neves but with some difficulty. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Greger Kullgren hit a great ball. If Felipe Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Snipers's Olov Groth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Munhoz in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when FC Snipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Groth came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's Felipe Munhoz. But to his dismay, Felipe Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 90 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Olofsson came free, but Jano Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Soares in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Soares in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Groth saved FC Snipers from getting behind. The FC Snipers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Snipers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
