Ximo Vicente kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Anxel Saez hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes El Fortín de Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Simon Baumar. Alfonso Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amat Maldonado in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Real Club Celta de Vigo's Julen Planes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Celta de Vigo from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute Enzo Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julen Planes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julen Planes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Conrado Bernat sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Machado in the 62nd minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Alfonso Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
