With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Freire in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Tirso saved Club Floresta Manda from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Bernabe Tabb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ismael Chap blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antônio Carlos Leme having to make a save. Conrado Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Timoteo Aritza fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Floresta Manda's protests and gave Timoteo Aritza a yellow card for diving instead. Timoteo Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
