Horacio Mannie acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfred Falkiewicz. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when Queens of Lublin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Kornecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piotrek Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ale Pipa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queens of Lublin's protests and gave Ale Pipa a yellow card for diving instead. Ale Pipa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Queens of Lublin's Ludomir Danisiewicz got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Rafe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piotrek Schmeichel was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Falkiewicz came free, but Horacio Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Esteve Urbez sped through Queens of Lublin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Piotrek Schmeichel. Piotrek Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Urbez in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ale Pipa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
