Emanuel Finteșteanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Piechocki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Beniamin Czciborek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Bucurescu came out of the goal and Beniamin Czciborek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iulian Bucurescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Zawadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Robert Zawadzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Iulian Bucurescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95thth minute of the game Robert Zawadzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Bucurescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Odobescu to maneuver through the defense. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
