Carlos Ponte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulryk Lipinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Goral Zywiec booed when Turbo Kame Corp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolomé Domingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Turbo Kame Corp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Ponte to maneuver through the defense. Turbo Kame Corp's Florian Cuevas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Zacharzewski in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Turbo Kame Corp's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Sedzikowski came free, but Florian Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Sedzikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Kaczeniak in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Cuevas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Ponte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulryk Lipinski firmly grabbed it by the left post. 32 minutes into the game, Fryderyk Zacharzewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Florian Cuevas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Ochylski in the 41st minute of play forced Turbo Kame Corp's goalkeeper Florian Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ulryk Lipinski made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iyan Puyol to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fryderyk Zacharzewski got free with Florian Cuevas in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fryderyk Zacharzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Florian Cuevas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Felenak made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Turbo Kame Corp's Ximo Zafrilla. In the 62nd match minute, Turbo Kame Corp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Barro to maneuver through the defense. Napoleon Bentkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Dawid Tyskie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Goral Zywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Tyskie to maneuver through the defense. Robert Felenak hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Turbo Kame Corp's goalkeeper Florian Cuevas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grzegorz Sedzikowski. Florian Cuevas made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Fryderyk Zacharzewski sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, Goral Zywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Ochylski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Kaczeniak in the 78th minute of play forced Turbo Kame Corp's goalkeeper Florian Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Gilbert Kaczeniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goral Zywiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Kaczeniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximo Zafrilla in the 90th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Ulryk Lipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulryk Lipinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Ponte went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Goral Zywiec players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
