After having played for 19 minutes, Prudencio Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toninho da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Toninho da Cunha got a free kick in the 39th minute. Osvaldo Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Onofre to make the kick off. The referee ignored Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s protests and gave Róbson Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Sergipano. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pegale De Puntín walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
