An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Latini in the 4th minute of play forced Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Edwin Helwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serge Schophuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Marzo having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Arrigo Latini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bar Marconi United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Latini in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Serge Schophuis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Marzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Serge Schophuis could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Alex Marzo however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when Beetje Moe Re-United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan Strobos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Arrigo Latini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin Helwig. Beetje Moe Re-United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arrigo Latini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 28 minutes, Alex Overmars mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beetje Moe Re-United and the Bar Marconi United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alex Overmars hit a great ball. Edwin Helwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Cera in the 28th minute of the match. Serge Schophuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Marzo had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Ivo Mastebroek from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Alex Marzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serge Schophuis. 35 minutes into the match, Serge Schophuis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Marzo. Fedele Mannucci's late challenge caught a Beetje Moe Re-United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Mannucci helped the player get up and apologised. The wind increased when Fedele Mannucci made the kick off in the second half. Edwin Helwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Tullo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrigo Latini scored 2-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin Helwig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivo Mastebroek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Marzo having to interfere. Edwin Helwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Latini, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alex Marzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Schophuis in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Limitone during the 81st minute. Alex Marzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivo Mastebroek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alex Marzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Beetje Moe Re-United manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bar Marconi United to win.
