But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klim Muravev couldn't finish the play. Aldo Del Grosso kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 7 played minutes FC Caspiy got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kitaev. Enzo Cera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Timur Grek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Marzo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Klim Muravev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinando Tullo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Timur Grek made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bar Marconi United's Alex Marzo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Timur Grek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Caspiy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Grek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Timur Grek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arrigo Latini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Caspiy getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vladimir Bogdanov hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Felli during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Bar Marconi United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Caspiy:s goal. The referee gave FC Caspiy a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vladimir Bogdanov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bar Marconi United's Alex Marzo. 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timur Grek was the one to do the kick off. Boris Nekrasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Marzo having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Artem Yastrebov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bar Marconi United's Alex Marzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Marzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klim Muravev in the 63rd minute of play. If Artem Yastrebov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Latini in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Caspiy's goalkeeper Martyn Baiseitov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artem Yastrebov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alex Marzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Marzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klim Muravev, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Bar Marconi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Latini to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artem Yastrebov in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Marzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bar Marconi United getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Artem Yastrebov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Marzo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the match was over FC Caspiy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bar Marconi United throughout the match.
