Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nistor Beșliu kicked off to start the match. Capibaribe Stars's Gildo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Beșliu in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Ian Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Bota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Acácio Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Alexandru Corlățean got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gildo Maranhense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ştefan Coman fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muget's protests and gave Ştefan Coman a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Coman. After a defensive mix-up in Capibaribe Stars's zone, Alexandru Corlățean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Maranhense came out of the goal and Alexandru Corlățean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico Penha hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Nistor Beșliu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gildo Maranhense. Nistor Beșliu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar dos Santos in the 31st minute of play. Sebastian Zogreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Koehler in the 38th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu got control of the ball when Leonel Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Capibaribe Stars's Gildo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Crașovan in the 69th minute of play. Gildo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Muget's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nistor Beșliu in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Nistor Beșliu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capibaribe Stars's Gildo Maranhense did a great save. Nistor Beșliu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gildo Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muget. In the 73rd minute, Nico Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Váldson de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcu Sângeorzan charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Sângeorzan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcu Sângeorzan hit a great ball. Capibaribe Stars's Ian Koehler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Muget. 82 minutes into the game, Oscar dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sebastian Zogreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gildo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gildo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Crașovan in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Glauco Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu in the 90th minute of play. Cătălin Crașovan took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Maranhense. Gildo Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Muget's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
