After a rather tough play, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Carolo Berbiz got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Dalmai in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. Válbson Soeiro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. After 32nd play minutes Hermengildo Dalmai shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Telmo Trigo and just under the crossbar into goal. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Lamberto in the 35th minute of the match. Válbson Soeiro's late challenge caught a ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Eleuterio Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Lamberto stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of A.A. Francana's defenders and the ball went out. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Eleuterio Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Eleuterio Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Godfredo Chago got a free kick in the 47th minute. The A.A. Francana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Lamberto made the kick off in the second half. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Carolo Berbiz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by José Vítor Carvalho, made in the 51st minute of the game. Hermengildo Dalmai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Telmo Trigo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Lamberto got free with Telmo Trigo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ubaldo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Soeiro in the 57th minute of play. The long shot by Fernan Rius in the 64th minute really tested Telmo Trigo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eleuterio Lamberto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Telmo Trigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Dalmai in the 66th minute of the match. Ubaldo Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Soeiro in the 70th minute of play. Hermengildo Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Dalmai in the 80th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Dalmai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Telmo Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Hermengildo Dalmai slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Eleuterio Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Lamberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Vergílio in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as A.A. Francana had held the ball for most of the match.
