The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joe Petroni's late challenge caught a Luganeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Luganeros AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seraċini Għawdxin.
