Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ben Moxon kicked off to start the match. Rick Arrowsmith hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ajax Colombiano's Paulin Olmos got control of the ball when Rick Arrowsmith tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulin Olmos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Blakeley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner. Lewis Davey went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lewis Davey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulin Olmos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Coventry Wasps's Dan Elwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Zuñiga in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Rick Arrowsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronnie Blakeley charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronnie Blakeley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronnie Blakeley hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Matias Zuñiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajax Colombiano and the Coventry Wasps players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Ajax Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Zuñiga to maneuver through the defense. Dan Elwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Borras in the 28th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Coventry Wasps's Ben Moxon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Greg Corcoran replaced Rick Arrowsmith. Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater was substituted for Ronnie Blakeley. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldir Castrillon to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Donny Paget shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Olmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Archie Robinson got a free kick in the 55th minute. Belmiro Hoyuelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Elwick having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Obano Trimiño during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Obano Trimiño got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Shuttleworth in the 70th minute of play forced Ajax Colombiano's goalkeeper Paulin Olmos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Roche's late challenge caught a Ajax Colombiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruce Roche helped the player get up and apologised. Bruce Roche hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Paulin Olmos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Shuttleworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Justin Shuttleworth came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Coventry Wasps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justin Shuttleworth couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ajax Colombiano booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Shuttleworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Coventry Wasps had won after a very even match.
