Råda BK's Valter Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Blakeley in the 4th minute of play. Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Råda BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Greg Corcoran took the corner. The corner led Coventry Wasps's Greg Corcoran to fire away a dangerous shot which Valter Wästerberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Råda BK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ola Stenkvist hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Råda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Blakeley in the 11th minute of play forced Råda BK's goalkeeper Valter Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Cain hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Råda BK's Valter Wästerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Råda BK from getting a goal against them. Valter Wästerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Moxon in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Tomasson came free, but Dan Elwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Blomberg in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Elwick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ben Moxon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ronnie Blakeley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valter Wästerberg was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Archie Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Archie Robinson. Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater was substituted for Ronnie Blakeley. In the 48th match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Robinson to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexander Blomberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Shuttleworth came free, but Valter Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Greg Corcoran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry Wasps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råda BK the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Corcoran to maneuver through the defense. Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Råda BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Greg Corcoran took the corner. Justin Shuttleworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valter Wästerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Ernst Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Greg Corcoran struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Valter Wästerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coventry Wasps. Patrick Tinglöf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Tidéksson came free, but Dan Elwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Alexander Blomberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coventry Wasps's Dan Elwick. Dan Elwick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justin Shuttleworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Wästerberg having to interfere. Olov Hök hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Shuttleworth in the 87th minute of play forced Råda BK's goalkeeper Valter Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Råda BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Råda BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
