Spectators: 7764 (Terracing: 5824, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vivaldo Munhoz got the match started through his kick off. Alex Encuțoiu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Goblins F.C.'s Vivaldo Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nechifor Savin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 13th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Savin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 18th minute of play. Nechifor Savin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Goblins F.C.'s Vivaldo Munhoz. But to his dismay, Vivaldo Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 20 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Paes. Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Terzian in the 22nd minute of play. Nechifor Savin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Eduardo Machado got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Avram Terzian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Borges. In the 38th minute, Vivaldo Munhoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nechifor Savin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The FC Maci -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goblins F.C. were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avram Terzian to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Encuțu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maci -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goblins F.C. the free kick. When Vivaldo Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Goblins F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Gilvan Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilvan Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilvan Paes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Doru Opincaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo de Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Agostinho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goblins F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Savin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Maci -MM-'s Nechifor Savin got control of the ball when Kaká Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s Nechifor Savin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Mendes in the 72nd minute of play. The referee showed Gelu Agârbiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
