Rick Arrowsmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Savin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Greg McMahon got a free kick in the 4th minute. Doru Opincaru hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Nechifor Savin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Arrowsmith in the 8th minute of the match. Coventry Wasps's Dan Elwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Terzian in the 11th minute of play. Greg McMahon hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Dan Elwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Terzian in the 23rd minute of the match. Dan Elwick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolae Pădureanu went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Greg Corcoran replaced Rick Arrowsmith. After the first half FC Maci -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justin Shuttleworth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Avram Terzian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Elwick, 0-2. 65 minutes into the match, Justin Shuttleworth notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Maci -MM-'s Nechifor Savin. Nechifor Savin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Greg Corcoran got a free kick in the 75th minute. Dan Elwick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 76th minute. Dan Elwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Spoială, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Archie Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Gelu Agârbiceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Elwick skillfully saved the ball. After 87 played minutes Avram Terzian rounded Coventry Wasps's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. When FC Maci -MM-'s Avram Terzian in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
