After recieving a nice pass, Coventry Wasps's Lewis Davey tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Ksawery Wozniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coventry Wasps's Dan Elwick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's Arkadiusz Czajkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Elwick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ksawery Wozniak to make the kick off. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Donny Paget hit a great ball. Borys Mentus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Bridgewater went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Borys Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Shuttleworth in the 70th minute of play. Olimpia HSB's Borys Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Bridgewater in the 71st minute of play. Borys Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Corcoran in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Shuttleworth in the 76th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Borys Mentus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Bridgewater took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Mentus. Borys Mentus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dan Elwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Wozniak in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Galagan in the 80th minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Dan Elwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpia HSB's Borys Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Shuttleworth in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Wozniak came free, but Dan Elwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gus Fountain hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sylwester Merski got free with Dan Elwick in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dan Elwick was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sylwester Merski. Coventry Wasps's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
