Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) In the 2nd match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Blakeley to maneuver through the defense. Clayton Vella succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Dan Elwick was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Louis Mamo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Luca Callus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dan Elwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Louis Mamo 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Moxon in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rick Arrowsmith hit a great ball. Dan Elwick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clayton Vella in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Louis Mamo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Dan Elwick to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Dan Elwick managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Seraċini Għawdxin's Timothy Cini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Greg Corcoran replaced Rick Arrowsmith. Timothy Cini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Greg Corcoran. Justin Shuttleworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dejan Cumbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Lewis Davey charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lewis Davey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lewis Davey kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Kris Cain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timothy Cini charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timothy Cini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Cini. The crowd rose to their feet as Justin Shuttleworth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dejan Cumbo. That made the score 4-1 in the 81 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Mamo came free, but Dan Elwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clayton Vella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dan Elwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Greg Corcoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Bridgewater's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dejan Cumbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coventry Wasps had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
