The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A nice corner shot did that Remus Bojin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustin Pagomari quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 9 minutes, Viorel Pârlog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viorel Pârlog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustin Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Chiriță in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Fausto Fonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalionul U23 Dorobanti the free kick. In the 15th minute, Fausto Fonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lucian Baran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustin Pagomari was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Agustin Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Baran, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Viorel Pârlog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Fonso kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Palben. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Laurgain made the kick off in the second half. Camilo Palben took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ion Chificeac. Ion Chificeac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Lucian Baran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Lucian Baran notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Agustin Pagomari. Agustin Pagomari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lucian Baran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Pagomari was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Irinel Chiriță capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irinel Chiriță really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irinel Chiriță got free with Agustin Pagomari in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Irinel Chiriță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
