The corner ended in Remus Bojin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Gallardeta's Casimiro Erramun did a great save. Casimiro Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Chiriță in the 11th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Viorel Pârlog got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ion Chificeac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Dodo Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Chiriță made a kick off. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Apolo Naelio got a free kick in the 50th minute. Ruben Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Chificeac having to interfere. After 64 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Madeo. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Romelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Irinel Chiriță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Erramun was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 69thth minute of the game Felipe Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ion Chificeac was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ion Chificeac got control of the ball when Marcos Madeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Flores in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Chificeac saved Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting behind. La Gallardeta's Marcos Madeo pulled a muscle in his leg after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. La Gallardeta's Eliseo Illan was substituted for Marcos Madeo. Ruben Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Avram Panaiteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Gallardeta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
