After 16 minutes, Diamantino Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cactos and the Edelényi Bányász players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34thth minute of the game Oséas Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edelényi Bányász's Kristóf Császár was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edelényi Bányász's Kristóf Császár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Freire in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Franklin Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kristóf Császár was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th match minute, Edelényi Bányász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Lőrincz to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franklin Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cactos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Edelényi Bányász had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
