In the 2nd minute, Major Major fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Major Major kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Edelényi Bányász's Tamás Lőrincz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marek Dres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Major Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristóf Császár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Czerniak in the 11th minute of the match. Kristóf Császár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Paul Fujara in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Czerniak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kristóf Császár was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Paul Fujara in the 22nd minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Kristóf Császár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Major Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Czerniak came free, but Kristóf Császár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bezek's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Kormos came free, but Marek Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Czerniak kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Marek Dres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Lőrincz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristóf Császár didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 41st minute, Alfréd Kaszás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Kossuth kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bezek's Major Major slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristóf Császár. That made the score 3-1 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
Kristóf Császár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Paul Fujara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Paul Fujara in the 56th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Kristóf Császár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Edelényi Bányász defense, Jean Paul Fujara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristóf Császár. The Edelényi Bányász fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristóf Császár should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Tamás Lőrincz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Dres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristóf Császár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Tihamér Földesi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Czerniak came free, but Kristóf Császár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Norbert Kossuth hit a great ball. Ziemowit Czerniak took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristóf Császár. Kristóf Császár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Jean Paul Fujara took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristóf Császár. Bezek's Marek Dres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Lőrincz in the 82nd minute of play. Gergely Kormos had several of the Bezek's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-2 score and a disappointed Marek Dres as he didn't even see the shot coming. 90 minutes into the match, Gergely Kormos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marek Dres, 6-3. Major Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Jean Paul Fujara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristóf Császár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelényi Bányász's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
