Spectators: 7764 (Terracing: 5824, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Grütly's Jeremias Bela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, Eduard Culcer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Ioniță hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Marcel Pătrășconiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shame! and the Grütly players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernan Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Siniştean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Manilan stood somewhat misplaced when Eusebiu Siniştean came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Shame!'s Iulian Burtea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Bela in the 33rd minute of play. Nichifor Mara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Mara, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Shame! getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cornel Medeleanu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Siniştean in the 62nd minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Fernan Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Culcer during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Shame! got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Culcer. After a rather tough play, Shame!'s Mihai Cismaș got a free kick in the 77th minute. Mihai Cismaș kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Evelio Baumar fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grütly's protests and gave Evelio Baumar a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Grütly got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Baumar. Shame!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Cirilo Primo scored to the left of an out of position Iulian Burtea, making the score, 1-1. In the 90th minute Nichifor Mara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cirilo Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Rizescu in the 95th minute of play.
