The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sabaneta FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Clemente Ruy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Iuzbașa in the 6th minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Sana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Pinceel came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Indalecio Larramendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iordache Sucigan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Sana made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nicodim Păunescu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sabaneta FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Camilo Serans hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Pinceel came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ruy to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Mocellar scored 2-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iordache Sucigan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Pogea's late challenge caught a Sabaneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Pogea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Valentin Pogea hit a great ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Acatar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salomón Turiel was slow to take the kick. During this time Sabaneta FC's players had a chance to rest. Sabaneta FC's Salomón Turiel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iordache Sucigan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 42 minutes into the game, Iustinian Niță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Acatar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabaneta FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Acatar's Iustinian Niță got a free kick in the 43rd minute. FC Acatar's Iordache Sucigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Serans in the 44th minute of play. Nicodim Păunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Sana having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Remus Pinceel made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Pinceel in the 50th minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Sana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Acatar's Remus Pinceel in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Claudiu Iuzbașa came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Acatar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Iuzbașa couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Remus Pinceel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's Remus Pinceel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Sana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Remus Pinceel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Zacarias Sana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remus Pincoski hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Clemente Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Ruy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordache Sucigan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sabaneta FC booed when FC Acatar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Giurgiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Graur. FC Acatar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
