The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by JEMBer UTara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edu Prado was slow to take the kick. During this time Oiteiras's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Oiteiras's corner Edu Prado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tarsan Suartama quite easily take care of the ball. Arnaldo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gatot Makatita in the 7th minute of play. Kiki Wiranata's late challenge caught a Oiteiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiki Wiranata helped the player get up and apologised. Kiki Wiranata hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Ecep Priambodo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JEMBer UTara's protests and gave Ecep Priambodo a yellow card for diving instead. Makan Makan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Oiteiras's Edu Prado tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edu Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tarsan Suartama having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by João de Carvalho in the 22nd minute of play forced JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Tarsan Suartama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game João de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JEMBer UTara's Tarsan Suartama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Oiteiras's Sebastião Meireles got a free kick in the 24th minute. Arnaldo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecep Priambodo in the 25th minute of play. Ecep Priambodo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Bezerra. Arnaldo Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tarsan Suartama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João de Carvalho in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when João de Carvalho came free, but Tarsan Suartama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gatot Makatita scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gatot Makatita in the 40th minute of the match. Arnaldo Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gatot Makatita's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Penha during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oiteiras getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Afonso Penha hit a great ball. Mukti Risnandar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gatot Makatita in the 47th minute of the match. The Oiteiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JEMBer UTara were winning 0-2.

After 52 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Saldanha. In the 54th minute, Buach Zachar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarsan Suartama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Sebastião Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oiteiras's protests and gave Sebastião Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Meireles. JEMBer UTara's Tarsan Suartama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João de Carvalho in the 70th minute of play. Arnaldo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gatot Makatita in the 73rd minute of play. Kiki Wiranata hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haddad Leimena in the 89th minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper Arnaldo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play Oiteiras's Afonso Penha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Penha to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched JEMBer UTara eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
