The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leo Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Ciccio Moscatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Angelo Mariotti lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Denis Abar. In the 32nd minute Ciccio Moscatelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Carter Di Nino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Lawrence in the 35th minute of play. Carter Di Nino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carter Di Nino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 64 minutes of play Aves Negras's Diego Artal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 65 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Diego Artal. Leandro Abeita hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Denis Abar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciccio Moscatelli went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Anselmo Longo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of S.S.C. NAPOLI booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball.
