Mortada Al Khames charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mortada Al Khames the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Mortada Al Khames got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mortada Al Ansari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Camacho went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mortada Al Ansari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leobardo Radaban in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalaf Kakoli in the 44th minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Asteri Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xove Encina scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mortada Al Ansari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saif Abo Al Hasan to make the kick off. Khalaf Kakoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Asteri Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Golden Tigers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Red Hawk Football Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
