Patrick Cardozo was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Stanislav Shopov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto de Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niki Betov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto de Sena ran back to his position shaking his head.

Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alfa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
