Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Golden Tigers's Saif Abo Al Hasan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mortada Al Ansari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orval Crow in the 5th minute of the match. The corner led Flames FC's Valère Flowers to fire away a dangerous shot which Mortada Al Ansari despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chase Hale didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Orval Crow sped through Golden Tigers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mortada Al Ansari. 20 minutes into the game, Donald Kearns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mortada Al Ansari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donald Kearns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Shaker Hayat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaker Hayat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerrod Staples breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orval Crow hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Shaker Hayat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Staples having to interfere. Donald Kearns struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mortada Al Ansari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flames FC. Golden Tigers's Mortada Al Ansari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orval Crow in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Orval Crow notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Golden Tigers's Mortada Al Ansari. Mortada Al Ansari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orval Crow to make the kick off. When Basem Al Baghli fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Tigers's protests and gave Basem Al Baghli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Basem Al Baghli got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Orval Crow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Orval Crow fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Orval Crow a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaker Hayat in the 63rd minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Jerrod Staples to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horace Vaughn succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 68th playminute. In the 72nd minute, Flames FC's Orval Crow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Horace Vaughn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mortada Al Ansari. That made the score 0-7 in the 81 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Matt Stokes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mortada Al Ansari was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Mortada Al Ansari came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Flames FC's Horace Vaughn. But to his dismay, Horace Vaughn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Tigers's zone, Horace Vaughn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mortada Al Ansari came out of the goal and Horace Vaughn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Flames FC's Orval Crow slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mortada Al Ansari. That made the score 0-9 after 95 minutes of play. 98 minutes into the game, Horace Vaughn lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Mortada Al Ansari. Flames FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
