FC Aquile Azzurre's Emanuele Pollastrini got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 minutes of play, FC Kopli's Teet Onkel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferruccio Costanzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edoardo Proia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pavel Are during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Kopli's Pavel Are got a free kick in the 11th minute. Edoardo Proia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivar Laineste having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Marcolongo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aivar Laineste saved FC Kopli from getting behind. Ferruccio Costanzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teet Onkel in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Franco Catena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuele Pollastrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, FC Kopli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teet Onkel to maneuver through the defense. Aivar Laineste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Marcolongo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ferruccio Costanzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teet Onkel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Catena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Pollastrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erki Vilberg fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopli's protests and gave Erki Vilberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Kopli getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Erki Vilberg hit a great ball. Ferruccio Costanzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Onkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half FC Kopli were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teet Onkel to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Kopli's Erki Vilberg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 57 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo De Francesco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lembit Õigus in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Ferruccio Costanzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demetrio Bani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aivar Laineste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes FC Kopli got a freekick which was hit by Urmet Kapten. 68 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Tõnn Eessaar came free, but Ferruccio Costanzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Are hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Costanzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Onkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes in the game, Edoardo Proia dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 89 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Aquile Azzurre's Dino Marcolongo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Dino Marcolongo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aivar Laineste. Aivar Laineste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Pollastrini in the 94th minute of play. The FC Aquile Azzurre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Kopli's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Kopli.
