The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, FC Kopli's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Cebo came free, but Aivar Laineste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Onkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Angelino Cebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aivar Laineste having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Phelipe in the 27th minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Aivar Laineste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, FC Kopli's Vaino Oidra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Toribio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Teo Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Phelipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aivar Laineste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvestre Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Onkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Angelino Cebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pegaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Angelino Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Tõnn Eessaar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kopli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso the free kick. Tõnn Eessaar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Phelipe was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Teet Onkel came free, but Silvestre Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Pegaso's protests and gave Rodrigo Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pegaso's Rodrigo Cordario got a free kick in the 57th minute. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anselmo Iraido hit a great ball. Lembit Õigus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Teet Onkel made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Toribio. Pegaso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Fermin Deunoro took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Aivar Laineste to make any attempt to save it. If Rodrigo Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lembit Õigus's late challenge caught a Pegaso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lembit Õigus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, FC Kopli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teo Phelipe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aivar Laineste made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Fermin Deunoro sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lembit Õigus in the 87th minute of the match.
