The FC Kopli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Berry Corley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Flames FC's Orval Crow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teet Onkel to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Teet Onkel made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Flames FC's Jerrod Staples tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Kaur Einama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Kearns in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Aivar Laineste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aivar Laineste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Nunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Orval Crow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aivar Laineste was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Vaino Oidra struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jerrod Staples didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kopli.
