Abelardo Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto de Sena came free, but Asteri Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Fix Romero got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Hugo Neiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asteri Martínez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Asteri Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto de Sena in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hawk Football Club's zone, Jacinto de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asteri Martínez came out of the goal and Jacinto de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jacinto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xose Idiaquez was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Gaspar. Asteri Martínez was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Jacinto de Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto de Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 65th minute, Jacinto de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Asteri Martínez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto de Sena. When Fix Romero came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Red Hawk Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fix Romero couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luiz do Vale hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Xose Idiaquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Omar Sancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Hawk Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfa FC the free kick. Omar Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match.
