Spectators: 7737 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Sportivo Fernet Branca's Vladimiro Daunte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC Fanaticii booed when Sportivo Fernet Branca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Ganea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artemio Salomon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Giurcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Paolo Eduino got control of the ball when Marius Ganea tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Daunte in the 34th minute of play. Marius Ganea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paolo Eduino came out and tried to block the shot, but Marius Ganea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. The supporters of Sportivo Fernet Branca booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Ganea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Artemio Salomon got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Marteinn Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Giurcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Jitaru made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Daunte came free, but Emanuel Giurcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Avram Prunaru got a free kick in the 60th minute. Emanuel Giurcă acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fede Branca. 63 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Emanuel Giurcă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Salomon. In the 69th minute, Adrian Jitaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Fanaticii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Bărăian came free, but Paolo Eduino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisc Ciocâlteu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Francisc Ciocâlteu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Buzea hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Bărăian in the 83rd minute of play forced Sportivo Fernet Branca's goalkeeper Paolo Eduino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Giurcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Bărăian came free, but Paolo Eduino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Fanaticii fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sportivo Fernet Branca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
