Mestre GG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SuperChango the free kick. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Célio Munhoz hit a great ball. Wilian Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SuperChango's German Indar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Pombal in the 32nd minute of play. Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Abastas in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Mota in the 43rd minute of play forced SuperChango's goalkeeper German Indar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dé Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilian Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but German Indar made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goalkeeper German Indar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Pombal. Froilan Clementi lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Celestino Urbez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Raúl de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Wilian Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Wilian Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of German Indar, 0-1. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Mestre GG could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SuperChango throughout the match.
