Albino Indar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Azevedo in the 6th minute of the match. Gavino Colon's late challenge caught a Brazil Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Colon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Alvoha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Colon to maneuver through the defense. Paulo José de Sena, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Alvoha FC's Geronimo Maule nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fiori Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rubinho Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Brazil Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Orlondo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Orlondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Thomás Massa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Albino Indar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Rolando Socorro fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvoha FC's protests and gave Rolando Socorro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Alvoha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Socorro to maneuver through the defense. Virgílio Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Indar having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Percival Linares hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alvoha FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Segundo Jeraldo hit a great ball. Geronimo Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fiori Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Ferraz in the 81st minute of play forced Alvoha FC's goalkeeper Albino Indar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes of play Alvoha FC's Rolando Socorro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd minute, Rolando Socorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Indar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Virgílio Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Brazil Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Dantas couldn't finish the play. If Gláuber Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder de Medeiros hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
